Does the amount of poses i have installed cause poses to take a long time to load?

The time it takes a pose to load onto G8M has been taking a long time. I have alot of poses i rarely use installed - would removing some of them help reduce the time it takes a pose to load?

Not in general, it's lots of proeprties (morphs, pose controls) with links to other proeprties that cause the slow down - if the poses had sliders to apply them, rather than presets that set the bone rotations directly, they might contribute.

If you have saved those poses yourself, there is probably a ton of unnecessary stuff saved in them, like the status of all the morphs you have installed.

Also, some poses are morphs or are associated to morphs which may impact the loading time. Just look at the zip to see if the package includes files in /data/DAZ 3D/genesis 8/...

Some poses pack includes morphs, but not a very large number in my experience. But if the package includes also expressions, it is much more likely to happen.

A pose preset will save only properties of the type Modifier/Pose, not morphs (which are Mofifier/Shape).

You may be thinking of pose controls, which are sliders but not morphs.
