Iray Shaders

I would love to be able to make some Iray shaders, but don't know how. Are there any easy tutorials or info anywhere that will explain how to do this and how to save them

This post explains how to save a material preset, not sure if that's what you were looking for.
Thanks for the link.
Now all I need is how to make Iray shaders.
Well, the Daz ones are just material presets on the Iray Uber Base shader.
If you want to make custom shaders you need to look at the MDL documentation - http://mdlhandbook.com/
ty - that's a nice one page manual.
Ever notice in life how the more answers one has, the more questions one finds?
Thanks Richard. Will see what I can learn.
Just looked through the pdf Richard linked to, but I didn't learn amything at all!! All double dutch to me.
Think I'll forget it for now.
What shaders are you trying to create?
I have only just started learning mdl myself, but may be able to help.
You can do quite a lot with the supplied shaders, such as the "Daz Iray Uber base" and "nVidia MDL Architectural". But if you want to go into more complex shaders, such as procedural or layered texture maps, then that needs a bit of shader mixer brick construction.
