hi all
ok I know its a long shot but I have seen long shots pulled off before by the goos folks here so lets give this a try.
I am looking for a sci-fi coffin / cryo pod from around 2002*2005 made for poser, even just the name would be a big help.
i belive it was made by the same vendor that made the S.F.C.S sets, L.C.V.1 & F.V.C.S sets.
its a long shot as I said but you.
Hope you all had a good weekend

Hello,
I think the S.F.C.S sets were made by a vender called Davo who I think is at CGBytes now.
Also, There is this product by Predatron that may be helpful to you:
https://www.daz3d.com/cryo-transport-pod
Davorama? The Madlab or Dreadworks-III sets? I think they still have a store somewhere else...
Yes. I think Davorama goes by Davo now. At least the madlab sets list him as the vendor.
The Madlab 6 "Expansion Pack 1" Package for Daz Studio at CGBytes looks like it has the item you are looking for.
thanks all I found it,
its from "S.F.C.S. II" it looks alittle like the "Cryo Transport Pod"
that was the look I was after, just needs some better looking texures.
Thanks again
If you want something a little more modern, how about Predatron's Cryo Transport Pod.
For everyone's info, he has two stores Davo is the XXX and BDSM stuff. It may be useful for Sci Fi but most of the advertising will be x rated.
Davorama is the store with the Sci Fi stuff with family safe advertising & promos
Hi
thanks again for the replys
Billy-t's "TY2 Sleep Chamber Set" is still at Rendo But if you want it , its in Clearance at $3.50
i can see that I am at fault for not making it clear what I wanted from the start.
i am/was looking for something along the lines of the cryo pods from the alien films, namely alien resurrection and alien resurrection
something that was flatish and stackable. the TY2 Sleep Chamber Se and the Cryo Transport Pod cannot do.
hope that helps.
I am now looking for frost and ice to cover the inside of the glass windoe and the figure inside if anyone has any ideas
Have you seen the Hypersleep chamber by adiman over at Rendo? As for the frost and ice you might want to look at some brushes I love Rons brushes here https://www.daz3d.com/rons-frost :)
It isn't cheap but if you are looking for something stackable, there is a "clone pod" in the Cloning Facility Set:
https://www.daz3d.com/cloning-facility
Here is a couple of the promo shots:
thanks But no good for what i want
FFS I got this in feb. I have got to stop buying stuff and forgetting about it.
thanks for reminding me, I will have a look at it again.
i think i will be having ago at adding some meterial zones and uodating the texures on the pod fromfrom "S.F.C.S. II"
its abit of work for the use I will get out of it but it should be worth it ( a price I am will to pay for my art)
snd I think i have found just what I need for the ice "Ultimate Ice for Iray " looks interesting will see how things turn out.
thanks again all for your help
myotherworld, out of curiosity can you post an image of the S.F.C.S pod? I have looked at what I think is the product at another site and it only shows walls and floors etc.
Hi no problem
The S.F.C.S II was a poser set that is nolonger for sale here, but it inports to Daz very well with all the parts still poseable.
come in 3 colours But as I said I will be retexuring.
the 1st image is the promo but dose not show all the parts or the cryo pod
the 2nd is a render of the 3 colours it comes with plus a coule of G8F's (eye candy)
second render
(Hops over there and does a search for S.F.C.S there) Oh, wow, he has a lot of his stuff there. (Adds a bunch of it to his wishlist there...)
The adult site is a sub-site to a non-adult site. Something to know or people who'd like safer browsing - you can switch to the parent store.
S.F.C.S. sets have a lot of stuff it them, but yes - they do require considerable legwork to use with newer models.
