H all Not something I have done before but what's the best way to get Frost & Ice on glass without spending a load

    Haven't done it myself, but... The way I'd try doing it for nothing is a google image search for 'Frost on Glass', grab one of those images, use an image editor to make the non-frosty bits black and everything else white. Then use that as an opacity map while having the original image as the diffuse texture. Keep the IOR and reflection so that the transparent parts of the glass is shiny too. Should work with a bit of playing.

    Thank you for your help I have gone with Ultimate Ice for Iray $20 but I think it will be worth it
