If you use iRay in your view and you get crashes, it might be because it doesn't like caustics turned on.
I lost a lot of time figuring this out. Everything was working fine, changed some stuff and then the scene just started crashing when using iRay. I couldn't remember what was different, but I finally figured it out. Hopefully, this will save others time if they get the same problem.

I got many crashes. One I surely know is an imported obj. It's a simple window curtain. It makes me go crazy because sometimes it works and sometimes it just crashes for no reason. Then something totally new to me, it happened today. The Rievel hair! I don't know why but as soon as the render starts, Iray and DAZ are shutting down. It has never done that before. Nothing in the scene, just M6 and Rievel hair. No hair, no crash. I just deinstalled DAZ and I am reinstalling, hoping this will solve the problem. BTW, all those crashes only happen when I render on the nVidia card.
