Just a place holder for this month character... :)

Unless we are to see the characters in triangles of a 2 Female:1 Male fashion, the only other females we can derive from are maybe Gia and Olympia, as they don't yet seem to have official "siblings". Though, if the triangle speculation is the case, then there actually isn't anymore to develop except Victoria and Stephanie (who usually act as a trio with Michael anyway when David isn't in the picture). The only other females I can think of would be Monique and Mei Lin. Though, I'm more willing to bet that the Ethnic couples will be trined-off with a Native American pair at some point. Either way, if that is the case, Lilith & Ninive as well as Giselle & Ysabeau need guys to fight over to make that work! ;)

I'm betting female and released this week. If they do the following week, it'll be too late, as a lot of people have spent their cash for the month.

Still waiting for the Genesis Weasel. :(

As to the character... it does feel as though we're due a male. I wouldn't be surprised to see a male match for Ysabeau.

We seem to be developing a pattern of getting stylized versions of characters that have already been released. Girl/Callie, Aiko/Keiko. We're overdue for a new male character, and so far the only stylized ones are the teens and Cory. A "stylized" Gianni perhaps? Hiro (finally)?

C'mon David 6. I would sacrifice my daughter to R'hllor for David 6.

Kamion, you're a really good artist. Turn some dials or buy some PA head morphs, you could probably make a David 6 right now (and no sacrifices required). :)

Wouldn't a stylized Gianni be the Freak? :)

..Cat 6? hey if Microsoft can skip Windows 9. Daz can skip Cat 2 through 5.

Males: Even though Jayden, Brodie, and Darius have similar builds, I'd like to see a David 6 attempted.

Females: I'd like a sibling to Gia 6, based on small breasted and tall athletes like pole vaulters or volleyball players.

Totally agree. I hardly ever - indeed never - use a character out of the box. I have a limited set of G2 females (and no G2 Males - only M4 and G1/M5) which have all been picked up in various sales. Add to those some very useful morphing scripts from the likes of Zev0. I push and pull sliders until I have the character I want. I really don't understand the need for this constant stream of new figures when the tools are there for all to be creative.

I'd be far happier to see more versatile/realistic clothing in the store - and by realistic I mean folds, good draping and open/close morphs. Good, realistic every-day clothing is in short supply from what I can see. Or some realistic skins - older women, wrinkles and freckles, weather-worn and scarred. So may of the products look like store mannequins.

    Bingo.

I may well be wrong, but if what i'm suddenly suspecting is correct, we may have a PA release with bundled items. Gen5 had Hitomi, Gen6 may have these.

'Toon. Male and female both. Kids.

Check out the thread on the Little Twins.

Hmm. Let's look at what HASN'T been done in an official figure yet. What we haven't seen in an official G2F/M figure so far is:

Extreme over-muscled male & female (Freak, She Freak)
Fairy-type, male (manly compliment to Giselle, many maleThorne/Sarsa characters)
Exteme ectomorph male & female (like Ninive, but with realistic proportions)
    Young Teen equivalents to Justin/Julie
Primary school male & female (step up from basic child morph)
    Toddlers
Couch Potato, male & female (extreme endomorphs with pot bellies, cellulite, multiple chins)
    Incubus (male compliment to Lilith)
    Hiro 6 (duh)
Old & toothless (sort of covered for female by Hag morph)
DAZ Moderator (Gnome-like, Popeye-like arms from repeated mouse clicking)
Baboon (hey, we got a gorilla for Genesis, how about some representation for the lower primates?)
    Egg-shaped (Weebles)
    Block-like (Lego)

Well, there's only one way to figure that one out: if they receive identical support as any other Gen 6 Icon (like how Hitomi did in Gen 5 with her own unique UV, Capsces Poses, Characters, etc.), then that's a definite nod to it.

this is not the Little Twins release only, remember, there are more items foreseen with this one, 8 PA are involved for 10 items at launch time.. what I can say is that we are near the commercial schedule review.

Now, I may well be wrong, they may *not* get a full new character base treatment from DAZ, but there's definitely a feel of "major release with bundles" in that statement. And they are Genesis 2, not the 'Toon generation standalones.

Given the nature and versatility of the G2F/G2M platforms, I think we'll see much more of this kind of thing in the future, and not just at DAZ. Rendo's coordinated releases of multiple products for the G2 based Dolly and Olly have been managed extremely well... better, IMHO, than some of the recent "official" figures.

Oh God, I LOVE Dolly & Olly! The heads are a bit over-inflated to my personal taste and I don't use much of Olly's body, but everything else about them is fantastic! :cheese:

What are Brodie and Belle, chopped liver?

... I really can't see that one happening as a DAZ-O. I think Sebastian is as close as that's going to get.

While a new male character would be nice, I just want a new cat and dog. They are showing their age so badly, especially in comparison with the advances in something like Horse 2 or Dragon 3.

How did I miss this post?

Anyway, Belle & Brodie are actually this Generation's "Young Teens". Although, they don't carry the title, exactly, they do appear in the "Teen Girl/Boy" roster over at the Compatibility Matrix. I've actually been keeping track over the progress of the DAZ 3D Character Archive for quite some time, and I have a document that I'm constantly updating every month with every new release:

Nice list, but where are Minotaur 6, Retilian 6, and the two versions of She-Freak?

You'll notice that all the new characters after the releases of Belle & Brodie fall absent from the Matrix. This includes Minotaur & Reptilian, Keiko, Monique & Darius, Callie & Cory, Ninive, and Ysabeau. Though, if you're wondering why I don't list the two Monstrosities in the tables is because I don't see them as "People" characters, are what the Icons are mostly all about. Even though both characters are directly built on G2M and even have the generational "6" numbering, I lump them more with the other Animals & Creatures side along with DAZ House, Big Cat, Dragon, and the Creature Creators.

As for She Freak, I don't get it either. If you look to the Gen 4 females, you'll clearly see She Freak 4 and Reby Sky's shape included in the compatible figures lists. However, when I inquired of this myself to DAZ directly, they said that the team only sees her as nothing more than a mere character shape. This is why I have the poor dear in "()" with the Guy in my Base Shape complimentary couples table; she is a DAZ Original buy-out, but we haven't seen her since Gen 4 and DAZ doesn't seem to see her as her own core entity.
