The $5 Off Daz Originals does not work "with the purchase of any summer savings new release". It works with ONLY the top 4 items of the page for which I assume are today's new releases. Can someone confirm this?

Thank you for clearing that up. I don't like misleading advertisements that cause me to lose valuable time searching for their true meaning. My shopping time is as limited as my budget so I will not be purchasing anything today even though I wanted to take advantage of the vendor's flash sales :(
Well, I did take advantage of the straight flash sale of Stonemason's... even though that means that most of my budget for the month is gone now. :red:
As for the 5$ off... no sale there for me. :-(
I agree. They refer to ALL of the 400+ new items on the summer savings page as "summer savings new releases" and then the ad for the $5 off specifically says any summer savings new release. They really need to honor it or change the wording in the ad.
Not that I want to get roped into this horrible "punch" thing they have going on, but I'd at least like for their ads and sales to be correct.
I agree. Punch sales are confusing and convoluted enough without adding this additional confusion
Agreed. I wasted a lot of time trying to sort that out today. Too bad, if that sale was straight up, I would have spent a ton of money.
That definitely sucks. It absolutely does NOT work with "ALL summer savings" as it states it does on the ad banner.

Daz really needs to work on their Wording in their sales... There have been a number of sales that would have been perfectly fine had they been worded better, but I was put off by very poor wording. "Take an "EXTRA" 30% off Everything in the Store": Excluding anything already on sale, PC+ items, and anything from these vendors: As if you participate in X sale, then they'll be on sale as well, oh and you need to buy 1 of 8 items with a minimum vale of $12 to active.
Had they worded the instead to read "Save 30% off anything not already on sale, with a purchase of one of these items" I would said, "oh, that's nice, but I'm not interested" and moved on instead of wasting an hour trying to figure out how to make it work.
The $5 off banner is still showing today however none of the summer savings items (including today's new releases) will give me $5 off ANY Daz Original.
Only yesterdays new releases work; but todays don't. It really limits your choice to about 5 things.
Overall the sale is so confusing I think I'll just skip the whole thing and save my money.
That's right, todays products do not work whereas the text says any product would do. One could use the promo with yesterdays products several times though. I purchased three of yesterdays summer savings products individually and was able to add one of the sub-5$ originals for free with each purchase.
The promo has been fixed to work as described - you can now get $5 of a non-new, non-PC DAZ Original with the purchase of one of Tuesday's new releases as well as with one of Monday's.
