need help using drakkar crew action

I am still relatively new at DS and am having trouble loading/using the poses called Drakkar Crew Action. I load in Drakkar and the oars just fine as well as Michael 6 but when I double click or right click and chose merge with scene nothing happens. I can use other poses just fine but the Drakkar Crew Action poses don't pose the actor/figure. I have tried Michael 4, Michael 5 and Michael 6 and none work.

Don Albert is the creator or seller for Drakkar Crew Action. It was one of the 12 days of Christmas freebies and doesn't show up for sale when I search but several of his others do.

I don't know if there is something I am doing wrong or something special you have to do? I have used other poses where the figure fits with a prop or other figure just fine.
