If I put a link from where My Daz Library is to somewhere else, will DIM update the folder 'somewhere else,' or will it get confused?

I'd like to keep the folder in Dropbox so it's kept backed up.

    As far as I know, DIM will update the folder you specify in the settings of DIM. That said, keeping a copy in dropbox might violate the TOS. You may want to check on that.

    No it won't update. It will only update in the default location

    It won't update elsewhere, DIM will not see that content has been moved and will install to the default location

    Greetings,
    I keep 'My Library', and the metadata directory in Dropbox, and it works just fine.

    Mind you I pay for my Dropbox, so I have a TB of storage for it to use, and I'm using 32% of it, nearly exclusively for DAZ-installed content...
