DAZ Studio Slow

I have a Genesis 8F Figure with a catsuit on! I am trying to pose the figure on a circus ring. No background as yet! For some reason, DAZ Studio slows right down making it hard to pose my figure when I try to move it into place on the circus ring. I use the parameter dial to move the figure into position and sometime later the figure moves ever slightly. It takes quite some time to get the final pose into position!

I have a powerful desktop computer, The latest 12th generation Intel i9 processor a 12 gig NVIDIA RTX 3060 Graphics card,128 gigs RAM, and a 2 terabyte SSD Hard Drive on a Windows 11 64-bit professional platform.

Is it DAZ Studio slowing things down or maybe something else I should look at? Cheers

    smoothing turned on will slow things down.

    I drag with the mouse first, and then fine tune with the sliders. Is the mouse also slow?

    Where do I find "Smoothing"? Cheers

    Select the object in the Scene pane and open the Parameters pane. Smoothing is in the General section of Parameters.

    Ruichard has a pair of scripts that turn smoothing off and then on again for the scene
