Fast Render, Slow Viewport

Hi incredibly helpful Daz forum people. I've been having an issue lately with my viewport loading incredibly slow if not freezing when switching to iray view. But when i actually render the scene it's done in like 30 seconds no problem. What could be the reason for this? Seems odd to me plus it just started happening recently. Any suggestions appreciated, thank you. I have a Ryzen 5 2600X, RTX 3060(12gb Vram),and 16gb Ram.

    The system RAM may well be the limiting factor. You are unlikely to be able to take full advantage of the 12GB on the 3060 with only 16GB of system RAM.

    I dont know, I scrapped the whole thing. Upped my system RAM to 32GB, wasnt any better. Must have been something specific in the scene and I couldnt find it, was a pretty large scene to be fair. Thanks for the suggestion though, I do have 32GB RAM now so thats a plus.
