It was a freebie, but I can not seem to get any of the items to load.
I am new to all this so be patient.
I loaded a brand new Michael 4 char (tried with or without morph.
In smart COntent, it does not show up, so I go to content library.
Search for 01 Tshirt and try to get the black t with red strip to load, no luck.
Tried fit to Michael, apply to Michael 4 etc.
Thanks,
Ian

Since you are new to this, you may be trying to load a material file instead of the item you think you are loading.
You need to make sure that the item you are trying to load is in fact the T-shirt and not just a material for it. The T-shirt itself should be in Figures, and the materials would be in Pose if they are in Poser Format in the Content Library pane.
I just found this item.
You need to go to the Content Library pane, Poser Format > Figures > M4Clothing > M4 Basic Wear, and load the Tshirt.CR2 file first, then apply your texture.
OK, I think that did it.
Spolled with the Smart Content Tab.
Would not have thought of having clothes, in Poser>Lib>Figures>M4Clothing
And then the Style / Material in poser>lib>pose>M4 Clothing>01 tshirt
This is the fun of learning an app with history as it has to carry over.
I'll get it.
Thanks again,
Ian
Yes, that is the way it used to be done. Somebody discovered years ago that a Pose file could be used to apply a texture to an item without having to go into the Material Room to apply it.
What you can do, over time, is create your own Categories, and you can then have all of M4's clothing, and textures in the same place.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_nnPf8nCcc4 This should give you a good idea of how to do that. The important thing is to 'Export User Data' often, from the drop-down menu in the Content Library pane, 'Content DB Maintenance' and that way you wont lose any of your hard work. It can be reimported again if anything nasty happens to the database.
