D-force clothing explodes durring simulation...

So I am doing a scene, and everytime I tell it to simulate from memorized pose the csimulation gets to between 36%-54% then EXPLODES... what am I doing wrong?

Based on that image and your description, it's impossible to say for sure. Broadly speaking, explosions occur when a mesh intersects itself, so what pose are you trying to simulate? Which outfit are you trying to simulate? Is it something designed for dForce, or something you applied dForce to yourself?

It might be that in order to come to the final pose, limbs will intersects other parts and thereby trap the clothing, and that will cause explosion. That is why I almost always use timeline, so I can make in between poses to avoid that.

Could the Measure and Metrics things cause this issue?

Don't know. But it might be possible, as it to my knowledge uses primitives, and unless it is set to 'visible in simulation' till off, it will be part.

yeah I deleted them, but it didn't fix the issue... so I zero posed the figure and set the final pose on frame 10 (probably could have done five huh?) and trying it using the frames like you suggested. Thanks for the help!

The Genesis 8 Male planes from Figure Metrics are set to Visible in Simulation, so yes they need that changed before using dForce.

Okay so I tried simulating through 10 frames and deleted all the measure and metrics stuff, but it still exploded at some point ... any other ideas?

Poste what clothing item you are using, and your end pose withing simulation.

Does the charcter intersect with the horse at any point in the simulation? If so that may cause the explosion. Try turning off visibilty of everything but the character and clothing to be simulated so it cant pass through another models mesh on the way. Also, does the outfit have more than one clothing item, it might be advisable to simulate one item at a time.
