    There's a metallic dragon that may scale down to act like a ok-ish bird
    SickleYield's Ball Joit Doll, with suitable (re)texturing may do for the dummy

    This might be better done as an effect. I recall Particle Illusion has a free preset or two (called emitters) for this, although they are listed as "tests". Still, they might be fiddled into what you need. If you have PI ... :coolsmirk:
