Hello, It's been a long time for me.  I was very active in the Daz community and used Daz studio and poser many years ago. So as a result I am very rusty and thinking about rendering again. I was wondering if anyone knows if this scene the Dragon Slayer which I believe was free or included with the old DAZ Studio download is available any more? Thanks

In Daz Studio, I have that under 'Ready to render', so it must have been included in the default ressources.

Have you installed all the defualt ressources?

Hello Felis, Thanks for commenting. I have not installed anything yet. Looking for a place to start and I found this render I did many years ago.
So I guess the first step is to download Daz studio and then through install manager download the default resources?

If I remember correctly that's a part (or *was* a part) of the G1 Studio Essentials package. The original version was one of the old PC sets.

I still have that. I surely got it as essentials content. The weird part is, it doesn't show up as an owned item in my Daz library.

My recent experience is that what is needed will be downloaded by DIM after Studio and the other essential items are, then the Starter Essentials... You find bits and pieces of the training items in G1, G2, and now G3 Essentials.

I have that scene in my Daz Studio 4.6 installation,  under the Daz Studio Tutorials Folder.  There are 3 tutorial,  Barefoot Dancer, Fiery Genesis, and the DragonSlayer,  they are all 3Delight scenes. Perhaps if you have the old installers you could find it there.

  • Thanks a bunch, every one I found the scene in Slaying the Dragon Bundle | Daz 3D which was included in my purchases under a very early version of the Genesis bundle.

Since we're making the zombie walk around, I noticed this one does not show as owned for me even though I've got it (again via essentials) while the above-mentioned Dragonslayer Bundle does show as owned on the product page. And neither item shows up in my product library. Weird!
