Non modern home interiors and exteriors.

Hello,
Does anyone know of a good home interior and exterior that is not modern in style? It doesn't have to be a specific style, like overly 70's or what have you, just a normal type of house you would expect pre 21st century that any normal people live in. I'm not too fussed if it's an American home, or a U.K. home or anywhere else just kinda old. Non modern also means no decade's vision of the future.

There are several in the store, depending on what timeframe you are looking for. The first two are from the early 20th century.

https://www.daz3d.com/exteriors-shotgun-shack - this is small, cramped, and hard to fit furniture into.

https://www.daz3d.com/suburban-house - European style of house.
Or you can make your own.

Edit: I forgot this one, probably later 20th and early 21st century.

Would like to see '20s, '30s, '40s styles. Real wood carved door frames, multi-paned wooden framed windows. Heavy window curtains, lace under-curtains, wiggly, uneven plastered walls, broken walls with wooden lath showing("lath", look it up kiddies), ugly lights centered in the ceiling, fancy newel posts on the dark walnut stained stairs, overstuffed furniture, etc.
That's quite a nice one, thanks.
@Zylox
Some of those are quite nice too. I like the European home, I live in one similar to that although it's semi detatched and not on it's own. Also I haven't come across those creators before, Daz becomes the Sims. But yeah thanks for those links, some stuff to consider.
@metaldragonman If you purchase the European Style Apartment and use it with DS 4.20, you'll need to get this lighting fix script posted in the first message in this thread.
...yeah, tired of all the modern architecture. I would love to see a few of the old "craftsman" homes. There are a lot of them here in Portland.
https://www.daz3d.com/a-cozy-kitsch-living-room fits some of that criteria. Furniture: https://www.daz3d.com/the-cosy-kitsch-living-room-props
They are in L.A. too. I wouldn't mind seeing them in the store either.
Aren't the collective3d houses quite close?

Etc. Just click on the vendor link...

a derelict one with land at Rendo
Collective3D's build a room kits have most of the kind of features common to Craftsman era/American Foursquare residential architecture. But you do first have to build yourself a room to put your scene in.
Stepping back a bit further, the Rural Chateau series in the PC+ collection makes a good staerting place for 18th/19th century scenes.
Nice, but needs a very powerfull computer.
I don't own it or a powerful computer
EmotionalOutlet3D over at Rendo has a couple of older wooden houses.
Good homes for ordinary people are quite hard to find, the usual three problems are, 1) they were made for Poser way back when and even if the geometry was fine, one would need to do the materials/textures over again, 2) place looks brand spanking new, or like a promo rendering on the architect's computer, 3) the set is designed for someone that has more money than Bill Gates.
Been drooling over some screenshots from games, where the interiors actually do look believable and realistic.
DreamloandModels and London224 on Rendo have some interesting houses. A bit pricey though.
I like the look of this one as well. It would be a fun one to try and redecorate.

I've gotten some use from Aurello's Antebellumm Mansion which is in the store here. A bit awkward to work with since it's a complete building that loads in one piece so anything you try to load to furnish it lands at zero point and has to be repositioned. You also have to heave things around for the proper camera angles.
It *might* make reasonable interior for the Albert Mansion. But so might some other things.
Blue Tree Studio has a number of modular sets of non-modern residential structures. But, although they include exteriors, they come in multiple bits. Also I think they are actually intended as game assetts. The textures look a bit overdone sometimes.
The thing about the Dreamland model's stuff is that while it does carry a high price tag, there's usually a ton of content in each item and the vast majority of it, including most of the houses and buildings, can be pulled out and used individually. And even the stuff that isn't specifically labled Iray converts like a dream. There are a number of other Rendo vendors who have some great houses from odd periods buried in their catalogs that all convert well, most notably 2nd-World, 3-D-C, Applejack, Powerage and TruForm, and then there's BlueTreeStudio, whose has some great concepts though but is a lot more spotty in terms of textures and construction, and the much more quirky 1971s and Meshbox.
....the top one looks more like the style I've seen here in Portland. I pretty much have all of Collective3D's houses and neighbourhood sets.
There actually was one long ago in the store by Eroc3D here which includes a full interior that unfortunately was vaulted.
Wow, its enormous!
DazWraps at DeviantArt has Joel's house from TLOU for creating fan art.
Ahh got you thanks!
@PerttiA
Yeah it's a bit tricky. It's out there, somewhere.
But at least I have more to look at though, thanks! I did manage to find some more U.K. like things. Like this street. Build a Street: English Country Village | Daz 3D and some props. Townhouse Street Props | Daz 3D British Street Furniture | Daz 3D and more American stuff. I notice there's quite a lot of fantasy stuff too when I search for old stuff or past stuff. I guess those things do fit the definition of old, despite not being in anyway from the real world.
I'll keep looking for more stuff
Well, I can say the two below can be contemporary without being modern, and are actually pretty accurate for any industrial UK town form the 1970's to current. There is a kitchen interior for these

https://www.daz3d.com/northern-terrace-kitchen, https://www.daz3d.com/northern-terrace-kitchen-white-goods and https://www.daz3d.com/northern-terrace-kitchen-utensils
This interior is potentially contemporary, 1910's to current: https://www.daz3d.com/a-cozy-kitsch-living-room and https://www.daz3d.com/the-cosy-kitsch-living-room-props
I don't have the one below, but it is pretty normal for the UK, and is suitable for any scene since the end of the 1920's:

Hope these help
