Missing custom metadata on reinstall

My windows installation bricked. After reinstalling on a different hard drive and setting up Daz, I noticed that all of the third party and custom products were being registered, but they were missing all files both in Smart Conent or Prodacts view of Content Library. The metadata still exists, the files can be accessed from Daz Studio Formats view and Daz Studio still recognizes the products in scenes that already use said products.
An example below:
Capture1.PNG
775 x 725 - 43K
Capture2.PNG
900 x 862 - 57K
Capture3.PNG
891 x 860 - 25K
Capture4.PNG
651 x 144 - 15K

And are the files in the correct place - that is, not in an extra subfolder instead of starting the folders in the main content directory?
Some files are in the main product directory, some are in subdirectory of said product (eg. Materials folder and such). For the product in the screenshots the full path is J:\Daz Assets New\People\Genesis 8 Female\Clothing\zoro_d\Chameleon ROse Biker Outfit (no subfolders in the end destination folder, only files).
So is J:\Daz Assets New\ set as a Daz Studio Format Content Directory?
Yes. Otherwise I don't think I would be able to access the files from Content Library/DAZ Studio Format. Also, original DAZ installations placed in the same folder work fine, both in Products view and in Smart Content.
Just to make it clear, third party products were working properly before the reinstallation (with both Products and Smart Content being available for them), and they are located in the same master folder as DAZ marketplace products.
I also tried reimporting metadata for said products with no luck.
EDIT: Also something that I should probably mention, only some third party products don't work. I tested all the products that already came with metadata integration and they all worked fine, as well as some products for which metadata was build with third party tools.
Did you restore the database from a back up or did you reimport metadata?
Reimported metadata. I don't have a database backup, or at least I don't think so, unless there are automatic backups.
EDIT: So, I've been trying to manually fiddle with various parts of the metadata files, and I've discovered that any <Asset> entry that was already recognized can be used without an issue, even after stripping off all of its metadata and even if using it in a product that doesn't show its own files. It shows up in the Smart Content as belonging to the Lost and Found category, but it still loads up fine and can be used without an issue.
However, any asset that wasn't recognized before just won't shop up no matter what I do to it. Values from <Support Assets> are recognized and update as well as header items such as Global ID or Author, but no matter what I try with unrecognized Asset entries they just won't show up.
I've deleted the installed files for the example product from the OP, redownloaded it and reinstalled it and files show up. The new manifest files are a carbon copy of the old manifest files. I'm at a loss...
One thing that comes to mind is that I manually assigned categories from inside Daz studio to some of the products that would otherwise be categorized as Lost and Found. I don't know if the product that were affected are the same as the ones that have issues, but that's the only thing that comes to mind so far as a potential issue.
If you modify a product it is written to the product's .dsx file in /Runtime/Support/, and should be reread on importing metadata - unless it went to a different content directory and so wasn't copied across. Non-product (well, Local user product) chnages get written when you export userdata.
Well in that case I'm completely stumped. Do you have any idea why this would be happening?
