Hi any ideas what I need to do to clear this?

It comes up every time I exit DAZ, and the error log talks about clearing viewports and things... but won't copy..

DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\QtCore4.dll" at 0033:000000006C098CFF, QObject::connect()+287 byte(s)

I've rendered with Iray, 3Delight and OpenGl - then exited and it was clean.... guessing it was some data or process not releasing?

I'm still curious if there is anything I can clear to get rid of relic data from old sessions that is upsetting new ones?

Daz run as Administrator AND I have uninstalled, reinstalled and rebooted. Still does not exit clean anymore?

P.S. Please can an admin this to Nuts & Bolts!..

    Have you tried a fresh install of DS. What are you using to install DS and Content?

    I used Install Manager to Uninstall and reinstall but i think it didn't get what ever the issue was. Pretty sure it is some partly written file that it had open when it crashed... had 2 sessions minimized while I ran something else for a few hours - 1 session crashed but I thought nothing of it at the time as I had saved my progress before I tabbed out. When I went to close the live session the errors started.

    It is on probation now - as in using it to see if the problem crops up again - I think rendering may have cleared whatever was mismatched

    I have had it happen after some scenes and fixed it by opening and closing DS with an empty scene.
    Cleaning out the temp file can help too.

    Thanks, the error message had cleared up with use... but has since come back again

    Clearing out the temp sounds good, and will try that...

    Don't run multiple instances of Studio as they will both use the same temp and other cache folders.

    one thing I found with DIM is that if you Uninstall and then straight away reinstall it does fix an installation issue. It has happened to me when I had to reinstall some Shaders and special Cameras. What I found it that I had to Uninstall and then Delete, re-download and Install to fix he problems. I don't know about the software as I have had an issues.
