Turn off interface hover states?

Is there a way to turn off the interface hover states in Daz Studio? It gets a bit distracting. . . I didn't see anything that would do it in the preferences or workspace area.

From the menu, Edit -> Preferences -> Interface -> Tool Tips button.
To clarifiy, I'm talking about how buttons, text and other interface graphics turn to orange when you hover over it. I have the tool tips off.
I don't think you can stop it, but you can change the colour used to be the same as the resting colour. Try, again from the menu, Window -> Style -> Customize Style. All sorts of colours in there...
In a related query - is it possible to turn off the mouse hover for the mouse passing over paramters? I use the Graphmate add-on in the timeline and I select a parameter but if I then move the mouse down to the timeline I habitually pass ove the other parameters on the way down. This, of course, changes the selection to another parameter which means I have to go back and slect the right one again, then carefully avoid any other paramters as I move the mouse to the timeline. There are proabably other instances where this is a problem but that one is a constant frustration.
I don't know about this but I was told that the text field in parameter panes losing focus when the mouse passed over a property slider was a Qt issue - perhaps it will go away in DS 5, using a much newer version of the Qt framework.
Treid to post a reply but this damned forum coughed up a new (to me) error:
Yes, DS5 can't come soon enough for many things but I fear that (a) it will be at least another year before it arrives and (b) it will break as many things as it fixes.
