Timeline keyframe range - OBSERVATION POLL not a solution request... :)

Am I the only one to noticethat the end frame on the keyframe range of the DAZ timeline never lets you put in a value because it autofills with the last frame number in your scene with every keystroke in that box?  You have to hit backspace and delete several times before it realizes you want a frame in the middle... very clumsy and hard to work with.

Which version of Daz Studio? There were issues, but I don't - if i am following your description - see this in 4.20.0.17

  • Hi Richard-

You made me wonder if I had gotten my auto download (I just recetnly switched SSD's).  But it does have the latest.  Any time I change that Range End box, it's an annoyance.  Below, if I do 130-160, it takes many more keystrokes than necessary to land the 160...

What happens if you try Window>Style>Select Style and choose Darkside? I am using that and was able to set the numbers from your eample, then set the range end value to 1200 with no fighting required.

  • That did it here, too!  Wow, so the style wrapper must have a bug in it on the text box validation.  I would think that would be more of a global setting rather than a container-level, but what do I know haha?

Just goes to show you, assuming can be a dangerous habit... thanks!
