What happened to Mimic Live, the lip syncing software/plug in?

in Daz Studio Discussion

I was going to use the program for an animated project, export then import into Blender. As I'm trying out the plug in in Daz, the mouths weren't moving. Went to try and fix it and saw the program was gone from the store. Has their been any new alternatives besides for the face motion one? The face motion one is good but sadly, I don't have an Iphone.

    It's discontinued.

    According to Daz, there were some “instabilities" with mimic live with the recent versions of Daz studio.

    I demonstrate the various non Iphone options in the above video.

    if you own it you can redownload and it looks like you may have the wrong *.dmc configuration file

    most for the later figures are in your library under general -mimic- configuration files

    I did just that but now it doesn't even recongize the 3 Gen config file.

    Thanks, I'll watch the following video and see if these work in the mean time prior to getting an Iphone.
