Was there an update to 4.8 recently?

I updated to 4.8 a couple of weeks ago. The other day when I logged into DIM, I saw 4.8 listed in the "New things/updates" section (also photoshop bridge), so I clicked it and let it go (though I didn't watch the dl etc.)

I noticed today that 4.8 and Bridge are still sitting in my DL folder and DIM ignores them...which is what happens when something is already installed.

Was there an update to 4.8, or did I just do something weird when I installed it originally that bypassed DIM's usual registration? (I had downloaded it to save a backup sometime before I'd go an install it..so I might not have downloaded from DIM when I did the actual install).

I show 4.8.0.59 Pro Edition as what I have.

The last version I know is 4.8.0.59...

And yes, if you had DIM download it, but you installed it manually you probably caused DIM to be dim...and not notice that the current version is installed.

I am also seeing an update in my Download Manager and I had DIM install 4.8 just a few days ago. What gives?
Also, is anybody having trouble with the DSON Importer for Poser? I also downloaded & installed that, now it is throwing "cannot find file with-crazy-long-name-that-ends-in-.pmd" errors and mangling things that do get imported. For instance, a scene with a pair of stockings fitted & working perfectly in Studio come into PoserPro 2014 with only one properly fitting and when I fit them again and transfer active morphs, it does not fix the issuse. One stocking is conformed and morphed perfectly, the other looks unconformed and unmorphed no matter what I do. It is also not loading and crashing on other scenes I try to import, ones I had no issues with earlier.

Edit: Think I found the problem. My version is apparently 4.8.0.55. Looks like I gotta go update again.

I think I've found where my confusion came from...at somepoint..maybe when I did the update itself..I UNCHECKED "delete packages once installed" in DIM...so they were just left lying in my downloads folder.
