Sky dome doesn't show up in render?

Hi all,

I have added a Sky Dome to a project, and I can see it in the builder, but it doesn't appear in my render, presumably because there are no lights directly on it. It's an night scene, so I don't want much light in the scene, how can I have the (stars/dark sky) sky dome show up?
