Will there be an Autofit update for Genesis 3?

I've read comments in this forum saying that Genesis 3 is a significant change in rigging technology, so is it too different to make Autofit with Genesis 1 and 2 impossible?
Autofit made the transition to Genesis 2 a bit less painful since you could still use the clothes you bought for Genesis 1 and the generation 4 figures. If Genesis 3 is completely incompatible I'm not sure I want to start down this road.
And it's a bit annoying that Daz sprung this on us just after the Callie and Cory in space bundle. If I'd known so many bundles were coming in quick succession I'd have hesitated a bit deciding what to buy. And the Vicky 7 bundles are nice, but neither of them include the morphs and expressions that you really need to make the best use of Vicky 7. I know Daz are out to make as much money as they can, but I seem to remember in the old days of Vicky and Mike 4 you used to get some morphs in the pro bundle.

When you install Genesis 3 Female Starter Essentials, there is a clone already available in AutoFit for G2 clothing.
The Genesis 3 Female Starter Essentials is available for download in either you product library or in DIM.
You may have to search "Genesis 3" for it to appear in DIM by some customer's comments.
Like Jimmy said, the clone is included with the base figure of the Essentials pack. :)
Thank you for this update. I didn't think we were getting this since there is no mention of Autofit in the Vicky 7 product page. I assumed if it was available Daz would be keen to point it out.
Does this clone also allow fitting of Genesis 1 and Generation 4 and 3 clothing? I have bought some updates to autofit, I think they were necessary for Genesis 2 male to female, or possibly Genesis 1 to Genesis 2, I can't remember which, and one of them added Generation 3 to the list.

The included clone is a Genesis 2 Female (G2F) clone. So clothing from Gen4, G1 and G2M should be first converted to G2F then it can be converted via Auto-Fit to G3F.
Autofit from G2 to G3 can be done. Some have expressed concern about footwear, but, hair and clothing look to be ok so far. I've not done much, but, the 2 renders below show G3F with G2F items fitted.
CHEERS!
Agree Roger, I have yet to find a pair of shoes that convert nicely lol.
Kind of used to it by now though (previous generation shoes didn't play nice before)
Gen4 stuff from other non Daz vendors could get nicely mangled too.
CHEERS!
Footware from G2F to G3F.
Not perfect. Big toe deform sole, but is not much. Sandal G2F to G3F

You can make your own clones of Genesis 1, V4, or even Gen 3 shapes for G3F, it requires a few steps, but it is not rocket science.

For a complete newbe could you post a link to how creating a clone is done. I have only just started with daz studio.

For a complete newbie I might recommend you get comfortable with DS before attempting this, but it just involves various steps using daz studio. No other tools are needed, and you don't have to do any sculpturing, or very advanced stuff like that.
