change size of menu bar?

alan bard newcomer

I understand we can't change the font sizes but can we make the top bar taller so it will accept larger icons?  
I'm sure any of us with large screens can spare another 1/2 at the top for larger icons.

I know there's a work around in w10 for the font issue but that setting doesn't seem to exist it w7

related question .. if we can't change the size of the menu part to use large icons 
if we were to add a 100 script buttons too it does it just drop some off the end or does it start a second row beneath the first?
