The wraps are mentioned as geoshell. So is the character working without wraps as well or are those mandatory to use it?

I took it to mean there is a "bonus" geoshell that you are not required to use, but will give you very detailed body wrappings.

The character is wrapped using its textures, the geoshell is an extra layer of wrapping that hangs loose and adds depth to the wrapping effect

Amun Raw looks phantastic! It's high time to install Genesis 8.1...

This is a great looking character with fantastic textures. I have a question though. Is there any chance you would do a texture add-on so we would have the mummy without the wrappings? I have some ideas for the character and I would like to use him without any wrappings so that I could put other clothes on him, such as shorts and a t-shirt.

No, I have a number of other zombie like characters that would fit that bill

Also the wrappings are part of his HD Morph as well
