Render Presets Not Saving Settings

Title explains it all. I can create render presets in my render settings but the presets do not save all the settings. The presets literally only save what's in the "General" tab of the render settings. Optimization, filtering, etc, don't get saved. Is that working as intended? Seems pretty limited if so...

    No, that is not how it works for me. All this stuff gets saved, unless you uncheck the boxes.

    You know what. I've always taken it that the "save" beside the dimensions in the render panel is meant to save an entire preset. Clearly that isn't the case. Your ss prompted me to look at general save settings and I see that there is a "save render preset" option. I'll use that from now on cause obviously I've been doing that wrong...

    The only save I see in Render Settings is for, and in line with Dimension Presets, which save the aspect ratio.
