I checked my cart and found this message:

"You're on day 1 of STREAKING!"

What does this mean?

    Moved to the Commons as it is not a Daz Studio topic.

    The streak promotion gives a 2% discount on non-new, subscription, excluded, or gift card items for each day out of the last seven on which you have made a puchase.

    "Streaking" used be a reference to the act of running naked through a public place... So presumably DAZ is pressuring you to run around naked or believes you've scheduled a session of nakedness that will last multiple days.

    That or it's something like "spotting"... which is... eh, never mind...

    Either way... congratulations?

    DAZ just stripped 1 day of 'streaking' from me. Just woke up and found I became Day 6 instead of Day 7. Well, nevermind, I only pay $0.08 more as I only bought two $2.xx items. DAZ, if you are doing this streaking thingy, do it properly.

    DAZ just stripped 1 day of 'streaking' from me. Just woke up and found I became Day 6 instead of Day 7. Well, nevermind, I only pay $0.08 more as I only bought two $2.xx items. DAZ, if you are doing this streaking thingy, do it properly.

    I discovered this two days ago also.  In reading the small print under the streaking offer, the discounts depend on eligible purchases made during a seven-day window.  So, as eligible purchases which got a 2% doscount fall out of the seven-day window, so does the "day" count and its perentgae discount.

    whoa. Okay. Nothing I want to buy today. I am Day 7 today. Let's see if I will become Day 1 tomorrow. I am not hooked to this streaking thingy anyway, and what happened yesterday was kind of a wake up call actually. Blessing in disguise.

    I'm not a heavy shopper in the stores (Daz3D or Renderosity) . I am a now-retired 3D hobbyist.  I crusie the stores for heavily discounted items of interest to me - which are few.  I had gotten up to Day 3/6% discount and am now at Day 2/4% discount but the difference for any item that I might buy amounts to pennies also.

    If you are on Day 7 today, that should mean that you bought qualifying items on July 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26. Tomorrow July 20 should roll off the 7-day window, so if you don't buy anything today, then tomorrow you should be back to Day 6 because your July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 purchases should still count.

    I work on the premise that if it's over $2 then it is also over-priced.

    ... But that's just my way of avoiding the marketing crap.

    If I took up that hobby, it probably wouldn't be very pleasant for anyone else. I was wondering, is it still called streaking if you are hobbling along with a cane?
