Ok.. not a lot of the G2 footwear works well with G3. I have gotten some pieces to work semi decently but nothing seems to work absolutely perfectly. Mostly the stuff that works is low heeled or flat soled items. I imagine that it could have something to do with the extra bed in the foot ( metatarsal). I wonder, will any of the content creators be doing updates to their current library or is there stuff in the pipeline from them now for G3/V7?

No kidding!!! I am still waiting for more heels for GF2 and now a new figure.

The perfect G3 bundle for me would be V7, face morphs, body morphs and several pairs of stilettos, LOL.

You can get even high heals to work, it's just that the foot bone rotations do not convert right.

The attached image is dx30's High Boots 4 for G2F on G3F (left boot only to show the right foot pose).

What I did was (in the left foot case - side-side and twist need negating for right foot):

    G3F foot pose -
    tip toes 78%, spread -50%
    heel bend -2.0
    big toe side-side 10

    Left Boot -
    foot bend -48.5, side-side -5
    metatarsals bend -76, twist -3
    individual toes bend all -80, side-side (small toe 4, 3, 2, 1, big toe) 0, -15.65, 0, -27.4, -82.2
    heel bend -45, side-side -6, twist 2

The boot straightens out nicely. Added a smoothing modifier to remove remaining poke-through.

That's the only one I've had time to try yet and I expect to find some that do not untangle well, but it might be worth trying with your favourites ...

The darkstalker boots that come with G3F Starter Essentials can look pretty cool and contemporary by selectively hiding most of the surfaces.

Sorry for the bad pic, but it gives you an idea.

You'd think that after the same problems occurred in auto-fitting V4>Genesis, a little more thought would have gone into this, but It is apparently DAZ's position that a woman's place is barefoot and in the temple (preferably holding a sword.)

No need to wait for new G3F shoes! Thanks to the excellent instructions posted by SickleYield here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/32242/
I was able to fairly easily fit these boots for G2F from dx30 on G3F (re-textured with Iray shaders)
