Hair Recommendation

marth_emarth_e Posts: 182

Can anyone here please recommend me any good hair in the store or which PA has the best hair models in your opinion. I'm looking for a very realistic hair (no dforce). And I'm also looking that the mesh is not that very heavy and memory demanding as I'm planning to export it to Blender for rendering.

I'm looking for a hair style like Jill Valentine's from Resident Evil.

Thanks in advance,

Martha

I'm not familiar with the one you're looking for, but the best hair I know of is by Outoftouch (OOT). She makes the most realistic hair and it's not dForce. I have most of her hair items.

Here's an earlier thread with some product suggestions:

If you're interested in OOT's hairs (and they are indeed very good), one of them is on this list.

For hairs that won't kill your video card, here's a slightly-oldie-but-still-goodie list of good, non-demanding hair products:

These focus on longer hairs, but the featured artists may have similar short hair products in stock.

Realism without dforce is very tough - outside of a few poses that don't stretch believability too much.

I'd check out AprilYSH hairs, they come rigged and look great. Some are dForce, but some of those (maybe all?) are also rigged.
