I presently have three hi-end desktop computers, two with i9 intel 12th generation and 128 gigs RAM and RTX 3060 12 gig Graphic Cards. The other is an older 64-gig 10th generation Intel i7 with a GE Force 1660 TI 6 gig. I am looking at purchasing a Laptop Computer to travel with. The cost of some of these so-called gaming machines is expensive! To travel with and keep costs down and work with DAZ Studio content will an AMD chip with an RTX 3060 graphics card and 16 gigs of RAM with a 1 terabyte SSD Card be sufficient for IRAY? Or would I be better off sticking to an intel chip although they are more expensive? Ideally, 32 gigs would be great but I cannot afford the cost. Also is 16 gigs of RAM sufficient? I am trying to keep costs down with a limited budget. Here in Australia for some reason, laptop Gaming machines are very expensive. Unlike desktops, you cannot build them to specifications unless you pay around $3000 US for them! Any suggestions would be helpful. The CPU is not the bottleneck but the GPU is as a laptop 3060 is about equivalent to a desktop 3050 or a desktop 2060. You want a laptop 3070 but that will bump the price to 1500+ and even exceed $2000 for some model laptops..
