Pre-built desktop

I really hope that I'm not kicking a dead mule, but, I did a quick look over the topics in the Daz Studio Discussion and didn't see a recent discussion on the topic, so, I decided to ask this question:
What company sells the best pre-built desktop for high rendering speed in Daz Studio?
I am currently running an Asus G10 with a GeForce GTX 970. Yeah, it is really slow. The renders look fine, but, they take several hours. I have tried all kinds of setting changes, as suggested on this forum, but still can't seem to squeeze out any more speed.
I want to upgrade to at least a GeForce RTX 3080. I also want a system with an Intel processor.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I would not consider building, or having someone build a new system for Daz Studio Iray rendering unless it had a minimum of, Nvidia graphics with 12GB RAM, 64GB of system RAM, and at least 2TB of SSD storage.
You might be able to get away with 8GB video RAM, 32GB system RAM, and less storage but you will be limited. It is no fun being limited.
Try Alienware or iBuypower. My experience with iBuyPower has been good. I bought a system from them in Dec 2021 and I purchased this system for my grandson earlier this year: https://www.ibuypower.com/store/gaming-rdy-slhrg214.
It has a Ryzen 5600X CPU , a RTX 3060 12GB GPU, an ASUS Motherboard, is liquid cooled, and has a 3yr warranty. It is something an enthusiast would build for him/her self.
This Alienware system looks like a steal: https://www.dell.com/en-us/member/shop/desktop-computers/alienware-aurora-ryzen-edition-r10-gaming-desktop/spd/alienware-aurora-r10-desktop/wdryzr10v11h
Technically, it has better components than the iBuypower, but Alieiware has some proprietary conponents and it only has a 1yr warranty. Dell is a very reputable company, though I have not dealt with them recently.
Why Intel?
AMD Ryzen, are as good if not better.
I'd be tempted to wait.
AMD and Nvidia have new products due later this year.
Might be some good deals when that happens, and might not of course, but also - new kit!
I'll be upgrading my first gen Threadripper 1950x when the new AMD arrive; I've not seen anything from Intel that is going to tempt me away - so far at least.
I build my own, so will just get MB, CPU and RAM - currently have 64GB, so will likely go for 128. I'll just drop my 3090 back in. I still use my 980ti to drive the monitors, although it is time to retire it when the 40 series arrive.
I'd stay away from brands, instead look for reliable PC place that puts together decent systems - usually using good specced products.
In the UK: scan.co.uk. No idea where you're based.

outside of some newer processing units.. the 3060 seems to have the same number of cudas etc as my titanX ... you have to go above the 3060 to improve the cuda numbers.

Do processors matter? I have a pair of xeon 2630v3s but so what... Unless I am doing a cpu render there is nothing in the daz program that effectively uses cpu
I would love to load or save a scene and hear the processors rev up to 50% speed as the program does something but it never happens.

this system dual xeons 64g ddr4 is six maybe seven years old.. only changes I would make would be to the top end video card and spend no money on a processor or new mobo or case... just upgrade the video card.
---
as for ssd storage.. maybe one for the program... I have 1g C drive 2g E drive with daz 2g G drive with content library 3g k drive with daz installs and two 12tb drives holding all the stuff from the past ten years ... also have 1 5g, 2 4g in external.

one work around slow renders is open second instanance and do misc while the main one is rendering.
while the first picture was rendering in 420 I was in 412 and built the morphing wall set in the middle picture
the 3rd picture "47m 6s 410 11879mb" took 47 min in 410 and used 11879 mb of the 12g card.
only lights being a sky of iradience night and emmisve light bulbs. and was 4kx2k
---
remember my comment about daz just doesn't use cpu ... ran my cpu checker while starting 420... one thread out of 16 jumped to about 20/30% usage
while opening the 250m scene for pic 4 it mostly used one thread and occasionally 2 or even three but never consistantly.
-- during the render the iray engine seemed to use a couple at time occasionally using them at up to 40%
obviously most on the card because the 3delight one used to run the cpus up to 100% unless you used battle encoder to limit daz usage.
the last image took 6 min to render at 2000x1600 and did it in the background while I was creating this post.
On the same machine playing fallout 76 all 16 cores were in uses and averaging 8 to 15% usage.

literally the only thing I would do is upgrade the video card but that's uber pricey for one that's an upgrade.
cpus probably don't matter that much because I never see any signs of daz pushing the cpu.

I did custom build this ... 500 asus mobo, 400 64g ddr 4 (only using 4 of 16 slots) 980ti 6g for 700 and a pair of used xeon engineering samples a 350 each ...
a new processor would have been 800 for the same one and I figured that even if one died I'd still be fine... 6 years later they're still chugging along.
and 20 bucks for a used service case at a local resale shop.
