Daz Studio 3 install problem on Mac G5

I have Daz Studio 3 free version installed on my Mac G5 OS 10.5.8 and it works. I just can't remember if I installed it when it was 10.5 and then upgraded it to .8 or did I upgrade to 10.5.8 and then install? Also, did I need to be connected to the internet during installation of Daz or was it okay if I was offline? I usually keep my computers offline except for the one that is dedicated to surf. I was trying to install Daz Studio 3 again but on the Mac G5 in the room that is air conditioned and it is just refusing because it says I don't have Admin password right. Yes I do. Why is this fighting me?

You don't need to be online to install DS3. No idea about the rest.

Thank you Leana. My guess then is that it had to be installed on 10.5 before I updated the OS to 10.5.8.
  • Maybe I will try on G4 with 10.4 Tiger.

Are you able to clone the drive from the G5 onto the G4, or back it up and use it to install onto the G4, possibly by reinstalling the OS onto the G4 using the G5 as a donor/

Possibly copy the G5 files onto a bootabale external drive and try booting from it?
