How to make a "loop" in hair creation tool

Inspired by MK Flying Hair for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Females | Daz 3D

I was trying to create hair loops like that, but whenever I try to wrap a strand of hair, there are always strings outside the loop (as shown in the picture) and I cannot remove them with the scissors tool. Does anyone know how to handle this?

Looks like a problem of interpolation.I don't use the SBH tools very often, but it looks like adjusting the Single Guide parameters and lowering Auto Parting will at least mitigate the problem.
