Melting into the ground.

The other week I was working on a beach scene. I'm using the beach that comes with Genesis 2 (I think)
Posing the figure laying down, when I rendered, she had melted into the sand. I know from experience she was positioned too low, and for some reason it does that, but how can I make it not happen? Is there some point between "low enough that it looks like she's actually sitting there" and "Help I'm melting!"
Without the melting, it would be more or less she's sunk in the sand..
Is it something with the ground itself that can be changed?

Looks like light leakage, is this 3Delight with Uber lights?
If so try reducing the the shadow bias. But if the ground is a plane you may need to place a box under it.

You can try using a morph that would actually flatten the rear end, like it would happen in real life when you sit down:

has impact morphs, for example.
Though that doesn't solve the real shine-through problem.
What a weird thing to say. What's weirder is that worked.
First pic is just normal
Second is with shadow bias on the UE2 light turned from .1 to .05
Third is with the .1, with a box right under the plane.
What a bizarre fix to a weird problem. Thanks! :)
Yep, there's nothing like light leakage from your hindquarters to get your day started :D
Glad you got it fixed!
