Next used Filter Forge to apply a filter to get a non-photorealistic look.
Then used Paint Shop Pro to adjust the transperancy of the Filter Forge image to dilute it's effect a bit.

CREDITS - used the cutout plugin to create the trading card frame.. then used planes and shadow catchers to make the Trading Card.. turning shadows on or off or both for various props and figures..
Card colour can be changed easily in the shader room. All models were modelled in Carrara, used Carrara hair for the dragon's breath plant and used Carrara text tool.

Title: "Is it just me, or did it suddenly get a LOT warmer in here?"
WIP link: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7594006/#Comment_7594006
Comments: V3 and the Daz Dragon (pre-milliennium) are the characters.
The outfit is a modifed version of Angeluz for V4. The flame and smoke were Jepe billboards, which I had never used before. Background was courtesy of MatCreator.
No postwork, but prework on the V3 body texture in PSE.

Title: Part 1 - The Saga
WIP link: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7634726/#Comment_7634726
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7644411/#Comment_7644411
Comments: This is a tip of the hat to Planet of the Apes - without the time travel twist. Instead, there was just boring old evolution. Lizards were slow to evolve, but 66 million years is a long time. :) They eventually developed language and technology. No, they don't breathe fire, but they can shoot fire weapons.
Lizards developed a natural caste system based on species variations, much like the apes did in POTA.
Humans (Sapiens) came along just about when lizards realized that killing each other for food was going to insure mutual destruction. As creepy as those warm-blooded Sapiens were, they made a tasty stew!
Characters include M3, F3, G1 and G2M, and some morphs like Dragonfolk that I have not used before. Fire effects are Jepe billboards. The building is from an old Stonemason set. The flying lizards are the Moorland Dragon. The flame weapon is actually called the Steam Dragon, and it is available on Rendo.
Carrara processes include Text and Surface Replicator. At this point, GMIC is always part of my initial setup.
No postwork, as usual.

Title: Part 3 - Haute Couture in Lizardland
WIP link: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7661746/#Comment_7661746
Comments: What did you expect, alligator purses and snakeskin boots? These are civilized lizards, not cannibals.
The character is a kitbash of V4, Dragon Folk, and a second skin product (retextured) from Rendo. The tail ornament is a modifier applied to a Carrara primitive.
The runway bulbs are a Carrara basic object, rezoned with different shaders, and topped with a bulb using a light sphere effect (thanks to Wendy for the suggestion).

Title: The Dragon Master
WIP link: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7625261/#Comment_7625261
Comments:
Dragonfolk - had to use the daz studio plugin to get them into carrara , a character called Grim, the spheres on the ground qwere replicated then turned into reall instances so I could move them, lots of lighting via caustics,
two fogs and some background gemoetry made with an online programe by Andrew Marsh Polyhedra Generator (andrewmarsh.com) - he has a few things worth looking at
the big sphere behind the two Grims is reflecting the sky

Title: King and Queen as Chess Pieces
WIP link: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7636916/#Comment_7636916
Comments: King and queen for a chess set to three d print. Started in Carrara, took into meshmixer and did a bit of sculpting and added some blobs and creases and bases - Then brought back into Carrara for texturing and rendering. Used Statuatory shaders - chess board is simple checkers pattern with the Statuatory Marble shader as the white bit. Dragon heads are Mill Dragon from Daz dismembered. Yes th Queen has special feet that poke through her dress without any trouble at all...

Title: "The Dragon and The Little Princess"
WIP link: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7675101/#Comment_7675101
Comments: k4, Daz Princess Outfit, a candle from merlin, and Daz Dragon Uno, caustics used to pick up the light from the reflection of the floor, a little aura around the candle didnt come out too well so readded in post work, Waterlogue added a litte texture in post with Ron's Brushes for background trees to add depth to the image

Comments: Well .... at least I made the deadline. At work I'd probably have been on the receiving end of something about "time management"
@grimmvald your entry needs to be 24 as shlomi Laszlo entry should be 21 because @diomede 's is 20
hope I'm making sense there lol
Two other people were posting at the same time I was (evidently) but I had started mine before they did. There are duplicates (17,20) so maybe a mod can fix them all at the same time.
At least I won't have to take the HR "Time Management" course by myself.

edited to add new link to WIP thread for lighting explanations instead of, '"try stuff", sheesh...
Entry Thread now closed - Voting Thread begins !
Don't worry about the numbering mishap, I'll differentiate the entries with A and B when it comes to tallying the votes.
