I miss my light domes

Lots of new features in DAZ Studio these days. I can see where the technology is going to help a lot with certain styles. I was just sitting here trying to tweak some settings on the advanced lights I have for a 3Delight render and thought "I miss the good old light dome with dozens of low-level lights that I could tweak for exactly the type of sky/sun/moon/ground reflection/etc. that I wanted to simulate."

I tried the iRay stuff. It is interesting. I don't really like the skin tones it's producing at default settings, though. I figure I can probably tweak the surface settings, but then I started to see where I'll have to learn how to tweak shaders specifically for the new engine and decided to stick with my good ole 3Delight stuff.

Maybe just an old guy grumbling about "the good ole days" which weren't really that "good".

Pay no heed. :p

Don't worry 3DL is still there...and some of us are still messing with it.

You definitely do have to mess around with skin more. I still have not gotten it exactly the way I want it. And no two characters can be done the same way.
