What are the rules around XPS to Daz conversions?
I was working on my freebie challenge entry and I had some hair I downloaded off Deviantart, but I couldn't use it because I couldn't find it. I googled the folder name and it was credited to Moogleoutfitters. I went down a rabbit hole and realized there are TONS of XPS files out there for hair, clothes, etc that you can download for free.
Some people have converted this content to Daz and offered for free (I assume with credit - I have not checked). I personally found a lot of hair models that are not like anything I've seen out there, and thought it would be great if I could convert them to DS and offer them for free (with credit and with the caveat that they are not for commercial use).
But what's the rule around this? If I took, for example, a hairstyle used in The Witcher game series, would CD Projekt come after me? What about World of Warcraft - would Blizzard come after me?

Yes.
I suppose it isn't worth it - I'll just use them for my own art. I don't want to get in trouble.
