Different between "P" and "M" in Parameters edit mode

I'm trying to transfer a character to GF2 from G1. The Preset I have saved is not transferring with the rest of the morphs from Genesis following this tutorial:

http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/24093/P30/#356991

My guess is that it's a Pose preset, hence the "P"? I'm not sure. Can anyone shed any light on how to change that? Or what it actually means?

Thanks

I do not know how daz decide P and M, but

P is property which not include any morph (move each vertices)
when you save them, as morph assets, the dsf not include morph section.

but it work as controller of other property with formula.
then change other morph or parameter value too.

    M is morph .
when you save them, as morph assets, the dsf should include morph section.

but you can make "empty" morph parameter, if you need.
it include morph section, but there is no delta of verts movements.
    I think.

Ok thank you. I exported the morph as an .obj and made it it's own independent morph. Now I'm having the problem where the morph once transferred to G2f is double. As in each feature of the morph is applied x2 as strong as it should. Problem is that only applying it half way loses detail... not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hi I do not think, (without you actually transfer same morph twice,,) it is double morph.

you transfered morph from genesis1 to genesis2female (with clone shape of genesis1)?

then you need to set genesis1 clone shape (hidden parameter) or genesis1 shape morph ( I think you need to get the product morph)
    100% on genesis2female first,

then set the transfered morph 100% (1.00), may show you almost same shape which you transfered I think.

you may better if you hope to transfer morphs between different generation figure,
just test with one morph , check it,, then save it as morph. (retrun value to zero, untill you save it)
untill you know clear, how tarnsfer morph, and how save them, and where the saved file are stored.

    to save morph,,
top menu>file > save as > support assets> morph assets.

    then after transfer morphs,
you can gather clone shape + transfered morph as one morph, then import again by morph loader pro.

Then if you miss transfer morph, or actually you transfer double morphs,
and save them as new morph assets,

you will need to delete them from gen2female,

all morphs of gen2female are stored in data directory. after you save them.
    \data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2\Female\Morphs\ (your setting when you save the morph) \ morph.dsf

then remove them manually. (take care, not remove other product morph and morphs which you need to keep.)
