Looking for a mature V 8.1 female character for a project.

The title says it all. Looking for reccomendations for a mature female character that is G/V8.1 based for a project I have. I used to use Fredels Jun character but she is G3 and I only use G/V 8.1 now. Thanks in advance.

G8.1 can still take G3/G8 textures just like the G3/G8 figures they were meant for and G8 characters/morphs work just the same.

Not familar with that character and searching the store only shows a G3 Male, do you have a picture of what you are looking for? There are quite a few nice looking mature G8(.1) females about - plus you also have a few aging morphs/modifiers to age other models if you found one that has the right look apart from being too young.

Jun was sold over at Renderosity. Looking for a late 30s to early 50s aged character (mid 40's appearance wojdl be perfect). I have been out of the loop for a while but had an idea for a project to get my creative juices flowing again and maybe break this render block.

So, don't use Fredels skins. There are even G8.1 skins that have non acceptable problems when used on G8.1 (details in the wrong place)

Ahh, thanks, I found her now.

I think the ones that have already been posted would have been my suggestions. There is also Feng Adelia HD for Genesis 8.1 Female who is an 8.1 character who I would say meets your age range but is noticably younger than Jun.

Man I forgot all about her. I alreaduy have her in my run time. Starting testing now.

Now I remenber what was wrong with Adelia. Feng used non standard nipple and areola placement which precluded using aftermarket geografts. Also diod not play well with some clothing because of this. It is too bad because she is just flat georgeous.

Yeah, this is what was said in the link that PerttiA posted. I have bought her but had't got round to using her in a render yet so wasn't aware of that when I made the recommendation. It does unfortunately seems like you'll have to try and make it work with a G8F instead if you can - or wait to see if a PA comes out with a new G8.1F in the near future that would be right for your project.

Are you using an older version of DS where you can't possibly apply the G8F character shape/material presets G8.1F, without some weird workaround?

No, I am using 4.20. Are you telling me that I can put 8.0 character morphs oin 8.1 without general wierdness now? Last time I tried it (quite a while back), had wierd face bone issues.

There is no problem using 8 characters on 8.1 and there should never have been.

The G8 and G8.1 have the same geometry and bone structure, if you have had problems in activating G8 morphs for G8.1, it was because there was something else wrong with your content.

I might be misremembering, but I think that you needed the then-current version of DS in order to use 8 morphs on 8.1.

But that was stated in the promotional material and product pages.

G8.1 needs DS 4.15 or later to automatically read G8 morphs
