8.1 Poses and Gen 8's don't work?

I know Daz did some magic to make 8.1 Expressions to be only compatible with 8.1 Characters but I just got an 8.1 pose set that won't work on Gen 8? Is there going to be a convertor?

    There is no magic in G8.1 expressions not working on G8, as far as G8 sees it (or doesn't) G8.1 is a different character. DAZ did make a change to how G8.1 sees G8 morphs if used on DS 4.15 or later, getting G8 expressions working on G8.1 requires deleting the dummy files on G8.1 that prevents them from working.

    G8.1 poses on G8 should work, unless talking about hierarcial poses which are looking at the name of the base figure.

    If theya re Hierarchical Pose prsets the simplst fix is to apply them to 8.1, then either copy the pose to 8 or save a regular pose preset (depending on whether it is a one-use thing or a set you expect to use often in future)..
