Shopping On Daz

Does anyone else find the sales on Daz annoying. On more than one occasion, I've had items on sale in my cart, go to check out, and find the sale expired in the middle of the day.

When is your middle of the day relative to Daz? Most sales run until midnight Daz time (MST or MDT, according to season), though Flash sales and the like may have a shorter/different duration.

Well, I had something in my cart earlier today that appeared to be expiring at 9pm which the internet says is 2pm MST. However, I did get a little warning that came up so I was able to ensure I checked out before it expired. There is always another sale tho so if you run over you can always move it to your favourites and look to buy it another day when it might be on sale again.

I've never had an issue with a daily sale doing this, only the limited time sales.  The cart does give a warning when items in your cart that are part of a promo are about to end (I'm not exactly sure when the warning kicks in.  It'll start a countdown).  I've missed a few sales and had to take things out of my cart because I forgot it was a limited time promo.  Oops.

Luckily, there are sales fairly often, so hopefully you'll be able to find your items on sale again.  smiley

Edit: I was also going to add it's possible it could be a site error that caused the price to change.  It happens from time to time.

Second Edit: It looks like the warning starts in the last hour?  That's what I noticed with my own cart and the current promo.

I find them too complicated with far too frequently the necessity to buy far too much in new releases to get the discount of older items I want to buy. If I have to spend more than 5 minutes reading and evaluating a sale page for a new day of DAZ 3D products then almost certainly I'll not be taking a closer look at the products that day. The theme has to be really top notch for my to get my curiousity piqued with those sort of convoluted and expensive sales hooks.
