OpenGL not working

I cannot get OpenGL to work as rendering engine in DAZ 4.8.

Whenever I select either OpenGL Basic or OpenGL Intermediate and start a render, Daz uses the last rendering engine I had used prior to selecting OpenGL, i.e. either Iray or 3Delight. It doesn't give any errors or warnings, it just start rendering with that engine like it was that one I had selected.
Restarting Daz or Windows doesn't do any difference. Still uses the last one.

It isn't that long ago I updated to Daz 4.8, but my understanding is that OpenGL still should be supported?!

Umm...what video card are you using?

    ATI Radeon 5770.

I know, I should upgrade to a video card that supports Iray. And I will likely do that sometime in near future.
But until then. And I had OpenGL working in DAZ 4.7.

It could be a driver issue...

Look in your log file and see if you find a line that says OpenGL version. (Help > Troubleshooting > View Log file) Should be in a section 'OpenGL features for current hardware:'

    Thanks for the reply.

    I looked into the logfile.

    First part looked fine:
    OpenGL features for current hardware:
    OpenGL provider: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer: AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series
    OpenGL version: 4.4.13283
    Maximum number of lights: 8
    Number of auxiliary buffers: 4
    Number of texture units: 8
    Depth buffer bit resolution: 24
    Maximum OpenGL texture size: 16384 x 16384
Current OpenGL Texture Quality Setting: Good Performance
    RGBA color bitplane resolutions: 8 8 8 8
    GLSL version: 4.40
    Shadow mapping supported
    VBO supported

    But later I found this:
    Creating Viewport Manager...
Successfully created OpenGL viewport for Viewport1.
Successfully created OpenGL viewport for Viewport2.
Successfully created OpenGL viewport for Viewport3.
Successfully created OpenGL viewport for Viewport4.
    Creating Action Manager...
    Creating Pane Manager...
Successfully created OpenGL viewport for AuxViewportView.
WARNING: QFile::flush: No file engine. Is IODevice open?

Not sure what it refers to.

Regarding the driver I have the latest version. I looked into that to see if there was any indications of problems, but found none.
I do not recall installing it recently. But I tried to re-install the driver (successfully) but the outcome was the same.

OpenGL is working...and 4.4 should be a high enough version.

The only time I've seen something like this is when OpenGL was not installed/broken. Most on Intel video.
