I don't know why you are asking.
But people use dForce cloth in many different ways, and dForce clothing might be only partly dForce, e.g. only the skirt on a dress.
My goal is to create a product.
I dont know the best practices to make one.
So, like since it's dforced, does JCM necessary?
If I moved a bone like the thigh bone, my cloth geometry looks bad, but it's dforced, does it matter??
Cos it will drape eventually after simulated, but... it looks bad now... but it's dforced..

My take on dForce clothing... If it looks like a sack of potatoes when loaded and doesn't have any morphs to adjust/change the look, I'm not going to start simulating for each and every change of the pose.
Sadly, many dForce clothes are like that... Older clothing items made for older figures, have found more use since the introduction of dForce.
dForce would be fine as an additional/extra tool for fitting, but as the only method... Sucks big time.
To my knowledge, if you want to sell here in Daz store there must be some morphs. No idea of actual requirements.
Clothing sold elsewere can be without morphs.
dForce is limited in its features, and if not careful, then the clothing can end up looking very flat and boring.
That said, I generally highly prefer clothing that can be dForced, as it can help in many situations.
Fitting morphs to Characters are of no use (other than wasting space and resources), when one never uses those premade characters
I make my own dforce clothes or convert some.
Many I don't bother with as infinitely thin cloth kills believability just like a non-draped item does; Sleeves, collar, hem of the shirt and hem of skirts usually don't have em so I either don't buy or return.
Sure, it adds to the time a little setting up 'thickness', but whilst some don't care, at least one person does, namely me.
dForce products for sale at Daz are requiired to be rigged, including JCMs, unless the design is such that rigging won't work.

And to the point of the OP: I'm seeing more and more clothing arrive in my library only to find there are no movement morphs, no adjustment morphs and that fitting to non-standard characters (i.e. ALL of my characters) is hit and miss at best. I have quite a few items from Nirvy over at Rendo and the reason I bought them is because of the extensive list of morphs included with every garment even though they are all dForce. They usually come with one-click settings such as "drop-to-floor" too. The pricing is usually lower than DAZ prices for similar garments and they are often on sale.
JCMs are completely different than FBMs (Full Body Morphs it fit character shapes) or garment movement morphs. JCMs are hidden in the interface and activated automatically by bone rotations. They can be tied to a particular character shape though, to make the JCM specific to one character. It may be needed for extreme shapes like George or Maxx where the normal JCM is not enough. A product could have a hundred JCMs and you may not even be aware of it, because they are not advertised on the product page and not visible in the interface unless you show hidden properties.

Keep in mind that those poses only put the character into a pose for YOU to create a JCM. It does nothing to help you actually create the JCM.
If you're hoping to sell a product to people who do use those characters though, it is good to make them. If the FBMs are "never" going to be used, it is a simple thing to delete those morphs from the clothing's data morph folder.
I do. They {pJCMs} can actually help the clothing do a better drape.
