Dear DAZ,

You... will... have... to do... more than that... to keep... me... out.

Conversion is surprisingly fast and reliable, for the tests I've done so far, albeit tedious for the long run. Despite undoubtedly toasting many of the bells and whistles, she still bends lovely and all of her morphs automatically transfer.

I should also thank you, you convinced me to move my second posing Patreon tutorial to June rather than July like I'd planned. I need poses for G3!! ;)

Does anyone accept cookies in return for an automated PCF generator????

(Edit: This image attachment thing in the new forums is quirksome. :P )

    Beautiful renders as always
    How did you do it?
What is this Patreon tutorial you speak of?
Have you tried Iray yet? I wish you had time, you would rock the iray world too! But then you're a great artist and the tools are far below secondary <3</p>

Oh poo. But of course, I have worked in Iray! (And have the most wonderous tutor at that!) But, the challenge here was to move them to other software. And yes... to thumb my nose whilst I did it!!!!!

Iray... it's merely one of many, many shader engines by which to convey the models once one has them at their fingertips. ;)

Gah I have totally lost track of your work (I don't wander far from under my rock), where is it best to stalk you? lol :snake:

I haven't posted much in a very long time. I'm surrounded by like... heaps and piles of unfinished work, and I'm terrified of posting WIPs before anything is done. I have an incredibly good friend helping me sort things out so I can FOCUS on getting things packed up and sent off, but in the meantime I languish in a wasteland with a derth of good stalking material. The desert has swallowed me. I weep.

The best place to stalk me at the moment would be http://nightsongws.deviantart.com I'm actually a bit afraid of posting a link to my Patreon; it'd be a commercial link, and those are frowned upon, aren't they? In either case, by going to one link one will find the other. :D

G3 in Poser? How? Is there a tutorial somewhere?

I, too, stalk you when I can find you. :red: It seems you've been much less active in the last year or so; I figured someone had hired you off to do a real job in 3D. You do everything so brilliantly but I'd like to see you illustrating something, anything, everything! What would be your dream job?

Sorry if I'm being too personal. Mostly, I just love your work and would like to see more of it!

Well, that's answered some of my questions! It looks really interesting. Count me in!

Family troubles, personal troubles, injury, illness, family changes... basically a whole bunch of stuff in the last year, alone, and while I tried to roll with the punches I did not always land on my feet. Something had to slide, and that was 3D. The living came before the digital. ;)

I wish I was a good one to follow! April does beautiful work -- you should follow her!!!

I'm so sorry you've been having a tough time. I hope the worst is over and that things will get better and better now. And I do follow April! My favorite hair vendor; her latest is awesome.

I hope the whole Patreon thing works out. It's a really interesting concept. I'm looking forward to your tutorials, etc.

I also wonder how to do...

It is nice to know that there is a way to get Genesis 3 to work in Poser but honestly it does not help the Poser community if we do not know how to do...

The tutorial is free on her Patreon. I pmed her for the link. She just doesn't want to break the rules by posting it publicly.

If the tutorial is freely available at her patreon, she CAN post the link.
Whether or not there are commercial products there too is a moot point.

Nightsong, good to see you back. I recall you starting out as promo-renderer for BKC, hope to see more.

Thank you very much for the information, Hanako Hime. I sincerely appreciate! :) I did not know that the tutorial is free...

Edit: no tutorial in the file though...

No, if it's essentially a commercial page with a freebie it isn't OK - freebies need to be on a non-commercial page.

Thank you for your reply, Richard.

I have meanwhile received the tutorial link from Nightsong. It is a free tutorial on a non commercial page.

Thus, thank you very much, Nightsong... ;)
