Entirely black (silhouette) figure

I'm looking for a figure like the "anonymous murderer" in Detective Conan (see below). A faceless person whose body is just pitch black. Male and female models wanted, if there are any (for anonymous crowds).
Alternatively, if there is an easy way to achieve the same effect myself on pre-existing figures, I'd love to save some money. However, as a beginner, I'm pretty lost as to e.g. what values to change in the surfaces tab.
Thank you for your help!

You can do that easily by applying a shader to your char.
First you need to select a shader. I tried and you can use shader presets>iray>Daz Uber>Rubber Matte. The result are quite decent, but other shaders can be better.
Select your char, go to surface tab, select skin and apply the shader. Set the "base color" to black (or whatever you want), and you have something very similar to what you want.
Once you are happy with the look, you will probably need to add If some surfaces like the nails by selecting them with the surface selection tool and applying the same shader.
If you want something even more matte, increase "glossy roughness".
Note that the look will not be as cartoonish as in your picture. There are some shaders that can apply a cartoon like texture. For instance "oso toon shader for iray" or "visual style shaders" for 3DL.

Thanks a lot. I think this is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't really want it to look cartoonish, the picture was just a general orientation as to what it should look like.
The cheap and easy way is to select your figure, go to the Surfaces Tab, select Skin, Lips, Nails, change all the maps to off black.... render
I don't think this is what you are looking for, but in case someone who is looking for info on making a purely black silhouette of a figure...
You can easily do that by rendering only the figure/figures as a .PNG... take that render over to an image editor like Photoshop or Gimp and turn the darkness level up until the figures are totally black... then render the full scene with the figure/figures in it (so things like shadows are in the right place), and again take the render over to the image editor and place the silhouette layer on top of the full render and flatten the image... sometimes adding another silhouette layer with a slight edge blur, makes it look better.
I used that method to make a render of a figure that was absolute evil and darkness, similar to Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood's "Pride" character.
But that's probably not what you were looking for, so thats more for someone attracted by the "Entirely black (silhouette)" part of the title.
