What does this mean, Exclusive Limited Time Freebie?

That's the question! Does this ( Exclusive Limited Time Freebie) mean the figure will be available only to the people who jump the hoops then it's gone forever? 'Cause that's what it sounds like.

    Well, to me, this just sounds like if you buy all the items to qualify for this promotion then you will receive Antheia HD for free on September 1st.  What happens after that cannot be determined from the text. "limited-time exclusive" would simply suggest that this figure is ONLY available as a reward/perk for buying all 7 items in this promotion but at some point in the future will be available another way.

    I doubt you will get any confirmation as to when that point would be or what other methods will be available to obtain the figure since that may not yet be decided and if it is will be kept secret so as to not undermine the point of that promotion.

    Normally, it means that if you jump through the hoops, you get the figure for free until the offer runs out. Afterwards, they either sell the item at a regular price in the shop, or you can't get it until some other promotion where they deem it worthy to be in the shop again. I'd tend to lean towards the first option, based on experience. But they have surprised me more than once before, and maybe they are now trying to make something 'extra rare' by really only hnding it out to those who dance the tune..

    You'd have to contact customer support to get a confirmative answer to your question, I'm afraid.

    Honesty I interpreted that as meaning once you meet all the requirements to qualify for it before August 31, you'll be eligible to pick it up for free on September 1st at which point DAZ was going to invoke the powers of Zeus to blow up the planet, thus making it a limited offer...

    Maybe I read into that a little... possibly it was the font... 

    I'm probably wrong, but I'm still kinda of suspicious... too many ancient Greeks in togas... it makes worry... it's like Atlantis all over again.

    I remember the Sanjay 8 HD was a limited time availability only and then it quietly creeped back into the store after a few months. I learned my lesson with the season pass, if I can't see everything I'm going to be buying or buying things to get something free, I'm not taking a risk.

    Presumably to live another 24 hours?...  Apparently I unlocked the first one just by existing... granted I do have a bunch of supernatural powers, but most of them revolve around consuming copious amounts of alcohol and pork products, so I don't think any of them were involved.

    "Unlockable" is a term often used with NFTs. Let's hope it isn't related to that.

    We've already seen this type of thing with the winter expansion for The Knight's Castle - which was not made available for purchase after the Knight Series promotion.

    Granted, it could be different this time - but it's Daz, so I doubt it.

    The freebies are "unlocked" by buying the new release, it's a conditional freebie.

    Sorry, no. The figure looks like something I'd purchase at a regular price, but I've no interest in getting it for purchasing multiple things I might not have any need for.

     

    If this is ever released as a separate item, yes. Otherwise, pass.

    In addition to being "limited", the Antheia character is likely going to be one of the most expensive characters offered.  Think about it, in order to unlock her, you have to buy 7 products. Based on the first product's price, around $50, the remaining 6 products will likely be comparably priced, between $30 to $50.  That means a total possible cost of around $200 to $350, just to unlock a single character for "free".  No offense to the artists here, but no DAZ character is worth that much.

    I'll be quite annoyed if Antheia is only available to the people that buy all of those other items.

    I buy virtually every character by Mousso but I have no need for any of those qualifying items, I won't be manipulated into buying stuff I don't want just so that I can have the one item I would like.

    I've been a Daz+ member (or whatever it's called) for several years now and I've spent thousands on products from the store. If I can't buy this character the normal way, through the store, then it would be understating it to say that I'll be disappointed in Daz and their lack of respect for me as a customer.

    I for one would like to see some actual promo of Antheia HD before taking the plunge. What is included with her? how does she look in differnt poses and lighting. I would never decide to purchase a model based on 1 promo pic

    I think this character might be on promotional renders for this somewhat striperific fantasy Greek "cocktail" dress. It's very hard to tell with this PA render style.
