A list of the products included in the Mystery Bag is on the Product Page ... but all the links are 404. Think I'll get another bag of popcorn to watch this show :-)
Links probably were included by accident. It makes no sense for the "mystery" items to be known beforehand. This is now fixed by removal of those links.
Yes I just went back now to check the page and the links are gone. Guess I'd better be a good sport and be quiet about the mysteries ... but yes, the price is good for what's in the bag.

I just hope some careless Daz office staffer didn't screw up the bundle by dissociating the contents to hide the "surprise". I have the screenshot and will be expecting a refund if the advertised contents at the time of purchase aren't what's added to our libraries on Monday.
Let me get this straight: At the same time DAZ fails to deliver or even provide any official update on a single item that they've had a few weeks to prepare for, they expect us to drop $30 for five mystery items to be delivered 3 days from now on a day that is both a Monday and a national holiday?
Ditto
Also Ditto.
That's exactly what I was thinking when I read the mystery box promo.
The Demigod Series debacle continues on. I had submitted support tickets and waited for days for the products I purchased to finally become available. Am I happy that I finally got all the products (except for Antheia)? Yep. Am I bitter about all the problems and hoops I had to jump through to get what I bought? Yes.
Whatever behind the scenes processes that let consumers purchase and receive items from the store in a trouble-free manner are certainly lacking. The store experience is very much lacking with respect to these bundles and does not inspire confidence for those types of purchases going forward.
Daz struggles to honor it's commitments to their consumers.
To say that the Demigod Series did not go as planned is to make an understatement. This does not create confidence in any following promotions. In theory, the items included in the Mystery Bag will be great value for the buyers... However!
In practice, who can vouch this isn't going to be full of hiccups as well?
\_(^_^)_/
Because so far the Demigod "bundle" worked hard at discouraging/counterpromoting anything even remotely similar.
I'm a little disappointed but I've been involved with updates to a production computing environment that passed the development environment quality control checks that still failed when updated to the production environment. I'm eager for the new figure too. Here's sending good thoughts to the DAZ team handling the updates to the catalog.

I kind of think DAZ got the wrong takeaway from their Demigod set sales. I bought the set because of the strength of the individual items. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and value of literally -every- item in the Demigod set. That is so rare with DAZ sets or bundles (that usually seem to be more about making you pay for a bunch of stuff you may or may not want to get what you actually do want).
I don't strongly care about the "exclusive" character they used to sell it. I guess it'll be nice to have. It would be cool if she at least comes with the helmet shown in the advert, but she probably doesn't. That would elevate it above a *shrug* yet another female character variation though. The actual Demigod set items are -much, much, much- more useful to me, which is why I bought them.
With or without the "exclusive" character, the Demigod set was a -very- good value, but I'm not spending $30 on a "mystery box" that may be awesome or may be trash. At $5 or $10 for the 10 items listed maybe, but not at $30.
I just wish the "Mystery Grab Bag" was slightly less mysterious. Like, I only use/buy Genesis 8 or 8.1 stuff. Will there be older generation items in there? I 90% buy contemporary stuff. Will it be 50% sci-fi items? I mainly shop for sets these days. Will it include any environments?
I'm not saying it shouldn't be a mystery grab bag but maybe a grab bag with a theme that lets me know a general shape of what kind of products are in it?
Mystery Grab Bag is a no sale for me for an obvious reason. In theory I might have use for most of its contents, in practice the previous transaction with the Demigod Series is going to be finally completed only tomorrow. Until this one is finalized, I'm not going to enter a new one and see if the new one will work.
That mystery bundle is today only, though. What kills it in this situation.

I'm of similar opinion about the exclusive figure. I would have bought most of the dailies wihtout the prize at the end. I'm not even upset that there's been a delay--glitches happen and even the best planning sometimes crashes into reality. My problem is the lack of communication. I shouldn't have ot search their forums to find out why the thing they promised me wasn't delivered on time. They should have owned up to it with an email or at least an easily-findable page update letting us know when we can expect a resolution.
I'd just like to know if I buy this grab bag, and I don't like anything in it, will I be able to return it and get my $30 back?
That would defeat the purpose of these sorts of gimmicks though? Better to not buy into them in the first place, to clearly communicate if you don't like the idea.
I'd just like to know if I buy this grab bag, and I don't like anything in it, will I be able to return it and get my $30 back?
I don't know BUT if you buy this mystery grab bag and also other products that go to a reduced price because they are all in the cart together, IF it was returned, the prices of everything else would also escalate.

10 never before seen items. They mention characters, props, creatures, vehicles "and more." Given the average prices of many new products, I could be wrong and if I am, I'll apologize now, but I do not think you will be disappointed. I did catch a glimpse of that page that got edited, and for $30 divided by 10, that's $3 a product. I'm buying it.
Five first items were briefly known and at least two of them combined are worth the price. On the other hand, this is a no-theme mixed grab bundle. So, if someone is purchasing for the theme then they may or may not like the final result. On the other other hand, one can always return it. The character assets are G8+.
I can only say that models and textures in this bag certainly are worth more than 30 bucks.
Edit:
By the way, Antheia HD was added to the account library.
Antheia still hasn't appeared in my product library. I double checked the list of required products for the promotion and verified that I purchased all of them. Is anyone else still waiting for Antheia to show up in their product library?
Well, even with knowing the product names for the $30 grab bag, there's still enough mystery on them, since we don't know what the products look like, what parts of them do what, or what they have included in the box with them... so (briefly) knowing the names of the products included still leaves a nice bit of mystery. Having seen the list of products, I'm at least leaning towards buying it, but haven't decided for certain yet, since the included product names did sound like stuff I could find a use for.

Actually it is 10 mystery items; so, $3 for eah item
Been busy working on a new car purchase, but had a few minutes to render a composite of Antheia mixed with Ms. Swole and Hard As Nails (only the HD Details morph). I haven't tuned Antheia's PBR materials to my lighting yet. Mousso always does terrific characters. As an almost exclusive male portrait artist, I do appreciate having a wonderful female character to work with. Well done, Mousso! And apologies for my unimpressive render of the delightful Antheia. :)
The character "as is" at subdivision 4, the darker one of the two provided skin settings. No auto shape enchancer or skin folds/creases applied. Only HD morph.
The lighter skin setting makes her skin really light, but that'd be absolutely in line with Greek ideas of beauty.
That's where Mousso's trademark very dark eye color comes in handy.
With more darkened skin settings and period clothes:
Hair by Mihrelle.
In line with Noa, she does look Mediterranean. Real life Mediterranean, without the mandatory exaggerated tan the movie makers like to apply to everyone unless it's Helen of Troy (then she's played by a Nordic-looking actress ).
I don't know if I should cast her as Andromeda, though... Ethiopian princess... I'm not sure if the author of this myth even knew where Ethiopia is.
The Mousso character should be starting to appear now.
and see the posts above where someone has clearly received and rendered the character. I don't know if this should have been done for everyone at once or if it is going to take a while to work through the list, but it should be theer soon I would think.

Today is September 5th and I am also waiting for her. I've been checking daily and nothing so far.

Please open a support ticket, if possible giving the order numbers for all the qualifying items.
Hopefully the helpdesk isn't thinking that Noa Metamixer Add-On is one of the qualifying items. It was only listed at the very bottom of the page because it was released the same day with the first item in the bundle. The same day Noa 8.1 was released.
