Is it possible to import Poser props into DS? If so, what is the easiest method? I have a bunch of DM products that I really want to use and I'm new to DS. Really new. Two days new! Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Denise

Just use them as you would any other content. You may have to make adjustments to the surfaces. Be sure that the poser runtime is mapped to studio in the preferences.

DS will read and load cr2, pp2 and just about every other Poser file. They won't show in the 'Smart Content' or the Studio format. You need to look for them in the Poser format section of the Content Library. You install them into your content folder...most likely they will default to Runtime folder inside the main DS content folder.

Thank you, that's good to know. I hope I can figure out how to do this. I may be back with more questions. Denise

Okay, I seriously don't know how to do this. I can't find anything in preferences that points me to a runtime. Should I just copy over my poser runtime and put it in the ds folder? I'm on a MAC, by the way. Thanks again. Denise

No...just go to Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager > Poser Formats > Add...then browse to the main folder that contains the runtime. Add it to both Poser and DS formats...that way if there is anything with DS Mats, they'll show up in the DS section.

Thanks so much mjc1016! It worked! Okay, now I feel better. I have my props again. Denise
