installing files in another drive

in Daz Studio Discussion

So i installed daz on c drive though installed all my creative daz3d assets in d drive...

issue is when i go to files section in daz3d i see all of my assets but they seem in a disarray .. while i go to the products area its asking me to install it...

 

Question: How do i make the product section see what the file section is able to read the assets folder... Thank you

    What do you mean by the files' being in disarray? From your reference to products area I guesss you are looking at the Smart Content pane - if so, what about the Content Library pane under Daz Studio Formats? How did you install the content? Have you set the path to your content in Edit>Prefernces (Daz Studio>Preferences for a Mac) using Content Directory Manager from the Content tab of the dialogue?

    Hi Attached all the images so to see that the main asset files are in D drive... installed properly though can read in files unable in product... any help?

    There is some weirdness with Connect and the database.

    If your products are working I would just ignore it, and if you are not using Connect, then I wouldn't log into Daz Stidio to avoid further conflict.

    Aside from the content directories that doesn't really answer my questions - you have the panes set to sort by install date (button above the files), so whether the ordering is correct or not is impossible to tell. You also didn't show the Content Library pane. Still, on the face of it I am not seeing any issues there.
